Hi all-

I currently have a 10G 240V Blichmann BrewEasy. (15G MT + 20G BK). Pump, and chiller.,

I saw the horizontal 2 vessel pilot system they have on their site (https://www.blichmannengineering.com/20-gallon-electric-2-vessel-pilot-system.html), and it got me thinking- Going horizontal would be much more ergonomic and I think a better brew day.

I'm not super hand/mechanical, so need some help planning this out. My LHBS would do the pot modifications, and BIL is a welder, so wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this. Mainly the flowmeter, as am not familiar at all.

Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated. Essentially: Help me build a kick-ass two vessel horizontal system.

Parts list
  • New Pump ($200 Riptide)
  • Flowmeter setup install for MT (again- Help me here)
  • Whirpool install for BK (Blichmann)
  • Table (was going to order one from webrestaurantstore.com)
  • Tubing, quick disconnects, etc.
What am I missing?
