Does anyone use a blend of CO2 and Nitrogen for their homebrew? I see that my local shop offers that option. This is my first time getting the C02 tank charged so I just want to make sure I do it right.
Some people do, but it is not the norm, and is usually used for either extremely long beer lines (like in bars) or for serving stouts/etc on nitro from special stout faucets. If you are going for a simple, normal kegging setup then you want plain CO2, NOT the so called 'beer gas'.
