BJCP style for Jalapeño IPA

Wanting to brew one for a competition but unsure if it should be entered as an American IPA or Spice, Herb, or Vegetable and indicate the base style.

It will be a fairly straightforward IPA but I'm just looking to add a little heat.

heat is inappropriate for an IPA, so Spice/Herb/Vegetable (category 21A) would be the way to go. the style write-up even says "This category may also be used for chile pepper..."
