I made this over the weekend. Let me know what you guys think. Is there anything you would change or add. Its a 2.5 gal boil and a 5 gal batch.

AVB 8.9.
Steep grains of 20 minutes at 165f then add extract and boil for 60 minutes.
 
I might replace the honey with light LME, bump up the maltiness. And special roast and biscuit are similar - you could roll it all into one or the other.

A variation would be to try American hops - Mount Hood, US Goldings, Liberty, Willamette, maybe Northern Brewer.

You could turn it into a Baltic Porter with a lager yeast (like Wyeast 2112 Anchor Steam) or a pseudo-lager (like Wyeast 1007 Altbier).
