It's me...the BIAB nub again. I was wondering if I could take any all grain recipe designed for a 3 vessel system and make it using the BIAB method?

For instance, if I had a recipe that calls for a 60 minute sacch' rest at 149 and 10 minute mash out at 168, can I just do the same thing but using the BIAB method and direct heat?

Yup. Your efficiency will be a little different - generally a bit less if you are doing a full-volume mash. But once you know what your efficiency is then you can adjust your grain bill accordingly. Or just not worry about it.
