I've been battling my burner for most of the time I've had it. It is a double burner stand and it always got hot enough to do the job so I thought it was ok but it has marked all of my pots with soot every time I use them. The flame was always yellow and it stopped burning out of half of the jets (Burner is stored in outside shed and I'm sure it has gotten some kind of crap in there).
So I finally switched to the other burner which had a better flame. It was blue and seemed controlled and much better, however it didn't get as hot and it never developed a good boil.
So how about it? I need to get a handle on this pos quick before I throw it in the trash!
