Best time to use lactose

I cant remember, does lactose go in the boil or before bottling after boiled and dissolved in water?
 
I add mine to the boil as well. I just made a Breakfast Stout and that's what I did and it came out great.
 
Doesn't matter. Any time during the boil, in the fermenter, at bottling...

As long as you boil it to kill the nasties, you can add it whenever you want. one advantage of adding it at bottling is that you can do it to taste.
