What's your favorite hops for dry hopping? For dry hopping light pale ales, I'm looking for a fruity/floral scent and less grassy/strong scents. Alpha acids don't matter for dry hopping, right?

Depends what you're looking for, but from your description I'd reach for the Cascades myself.

I dry hopped with cascade and citra and it's a very nice fruity aroma. And correct, alpha acids have no impact when using for dry-hop.

Centennial, Chinook, Cascade, Crystal

C is for Aroma ?

Forgot Simcoe, it does have a C in it!

Those are citrusy, not so much fruity/floral. That description would denote something more like Willamette,Kent Golding,Fuggle Haulertauer to name a few. Some of those other ones do have some floral character, but the citrus buries it,I think.
