I went to the beer store the other day and bought a bunch of different beers. Well lately i have been on a big chimay binge . So i bought up all the trappist beers they had. Opened up a Rochefort 8 tonight. Wow it was amazing. I have never tasted a beer with as much flavor as it had. It had a bunch of floating stuff in it. Not sure what is was, but it was good besides that. Their was tons of yeast in the bottom so i guess that may have been what it was. Well that is all, off to drink more 9% beers. :mug:

If you're getting into the trappist ales, make sure you try Orval if you haven't already. By far one of my favorite brews:mug:

Yep had that one the night before. It was pretty damn good.

I've noticed that aged Orval is heads and shoulders above new Orval.

Try some Westvleteren-St. Sixtus if you can find some.
