It looks like the BeerTender from Krups is coming to the USA in March. Unfortunately, they don't really say much about it other than it will use thsoe new DraughtKegs thingies that Heineken come in now. The French version of the site has flash demos and such of the unit.

Does anyone know if it could even be possible to use this for homebrew?

I first saw it over here:

(I couldn't find anything about it here via the forum search).

......................Dear god. WARNING It is at the end of the 5 minute story.....

Kind of neat, but more of a gimmick I think. Thanks for sharing.

Dear God, that's pricey, especially for something that only works with the Heineken kegs. I was envisioning it as an alternative to the party pig. Draw off some from a Corny into the BeerTapper and then that that to a party or meeting instead of a whole keg or a couple of growlers.

Cheezy: You could have just jumped to the end of the accompanying text. ;)

You can say that again. That price is rediculous...

I saw one at JcPenney after Christmas with a 50% off clearance sticker on it. I still couldn't justify the purchase though as I'd rather just step up to a real keg system.
