I have a thought, I know that there are a lot of people out there who use beersmith and I also assume that they have used ingredients that are not in the program. We should have some way of sharing the specific properties that people have worked out.
Case and point:

TexLaw just helped me with the Agave Nectar SG

So, for Agave Nectar, it is classified as a sugar, SRM=1.5 SG=1.0343 Ave price (buying smaller quantities) is $4/lb

-go ahead and add it to your program if you want-

Anybody else have ingredients they have added that they wouldn't mind sharing?

Murray's Apple Cider.

Extract, SRM=3, SG=1.064 (The maximum SG you can enter is 1.046. To get an SG this high you have to increase extract efficiency to 140%).

Yeah, I had to add US-05 in there, too.

This is a GREAT idea.
Could we get someone to add some new sections to the software pages? Like one for Beersmith and Promash and so on just for sharing this kind of info? That wouls so rock..
