Beer Ice Cream Float

I just had a beer ice cream float made with a 1554 and vanilla ice cream.

Holy freaking crap it was excellent. That is all. :rockin:

I used to work in an ice cream shop that was located in my university's engineering students' common room. Every Friday afternoon they sold beer in the same room and the ice cream and beer sales overlapped by about 1/2 an hour. About every other week I'd have someone ask for a scoop of ice cream in his/her beer.

Cookies & Cream ice cream + Molson Canadian/Export=Not good

Conversely, a few years back at a work event (where my boss was paying) I had a Guinness and Chocolate ice cream float. THAT was pretty tasty.

I first had this @ Stone Brewing in San Marcos....Stone Smoked Porter and vanilla bean ice cream! freakin awesome

Sam Smith's or Southern Tier Oatmeal Stouts both go great with some vanilla ice cream!

Damn, Im gonna have to try this. Sounds like an IPA would not go well with the Ben and Jerry's though! I will stick to stouts and porters.
