Beer gun #2 stopper

I have been checking out BierMunchers thread on beer guns and I cannot find a #2 stopper in town. I just tried to cut down a #6 stopper and failed miserably. Should I go online? I have some more stoppers, 6 1/2 ers, maybe a wood plane tool would work to cut it down to size. I don't now, I wanted to bottle today but I am thinking i am going to have to go online for a 75 cent part .... Any bootleg suggestions?

Make a stopper by wraping Electrical Tape up the tube?

I asked my LHBS to order some and bought 4 of em. Outside of that you might look at some solid rubbers from the hardware store and drill a hole.

Someone in the BMBF thread suggested that you can invert a universal stopper, and get pretty good results. I did it as a test, and it worked, although not quite as good as the #2 I eventually got.
