beer filter

Hi I was wondering if anyone has used a water filter from the store to filter there beer , and so is there a difference from the ones purchest from lhbs or homebrew websites.

Do you want to filter already "fermented" beer,with a water filter.???
If so,no filtering needed.. just stick in in the fridge (cold crash). Everything will fill out.

I know that but I make a mean session beer for fishing and with a filter It would be ready to drink in 3 weeks instead of 5
