Be Careful. Hot burners, asphalt, and 10gal batches don't mix.

Hopefully the beer will be fabulous.

Then you'll smile every time you see your f'ed up driveway and say, "Best batch evah!"

The beer is foaming out of the airlock this morning, so we'll see how it turns out. Hopefully worth the tube of asphalt repair goop, heh.

I have a steel plate I carry around in the "trunk" of my motorcycle, since really hot summer days soften the blacktop. My old apartment building has a lot of divots in the spaces due to my roommate and I. You just need something to diffuse the pressure, I think they're like a buck a piece at Home Depot, normally used for joining 2x4s.
