Im playing around with an idea for a wheat beer for bbq and cookouts. Im still learning hops so not sure about them but here is what I have so far:

5 lbs Wheat Malt, Red (Rahr) (3.2 SRM)
4 lbs Pale Ale Malt 2-Row (Briess) (3.5 SRM)
1 lbs Smoked Malt (Weyermann) (2.0 SRM
.50 oz Citra [12.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min
.50 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Boil 10.0 min
1.0 pkg Safbrew Wheat WB-06

Will be BIAB.

Any comments welcome!

Oh man you gotta do a grodziskie/graetzer . Google oak smoked wheat or make some yourself if you are so inclined. Stick with a German noble hop and you got some great BBQ beer.

I agree that something like a noble hop would be a much better choice--I don't think the Citra and Cascade would pair very well with that malt bill, personally.
