Batch size question?

If I want to increase the size of an all grain batch from 5gal to 10-15gal do I just need to double or tripple the recipe? Thanks, Mike

Kinda but not really. Among other things, hop utilization changes somewhat. The best idea is to plunk down for Beersmith or Beer Tools Pro or something and let the program scale it for you.

It's in litres, but easy to convert - 1 US Gallon = 23 litres.

This is yet another of the many reasons to go ahead and plunk down the $20 - $25 smackers for brewing software. Batch size conversions, OG conversions, etc....

Use the apropriate tool and the software does the work to keep everything in relative balance.
