I haven't used the BC yet, but thought I'd try adjusting the gap. I found my feeler guages and set it at 0.037". The BC came at the 0.039" per the instructions.

Anyone else change their gap? if so what did you set it at, changes in efficency?

I've changed mine to .035. Try it where you have it now and see how good things come out.

I have mine set at .031 but its borderline to fine, efficiency is around 90% if my mash and sparge go according to plan. right now my biggest problem is controlling the flow rate of the sparge to get it to take at least 1 hour, another tip I discovered last brewday, always make sure your lautertun is perfectly level even a slight tilt screws your efficiency.
