I have 2 ball lock kegs. one has the 2 holed pressure relief valve and the other has the multiple (6 or 8) holes. They both have the same pressure relief valve pin with the flat rubber bottom

The one with the multiple holes leakes with either pin so i was thinking it was the lid that was maybe warped. Upon looking at chicompany.net the say there is 2 different kinds show here.

Chicompany says that the one with the o-ring works for both but the one with the black end only works on the 2 hole lids. The lid that is leaking is the multiple hole lid but my pin valve has the same bottom but different top. Either way i think i have the wrong part for the lid but after looking online i see everal people with the multiple hole lid and the black rubber foot pin valve which "should not work" Would it be wise to buy the pin valve with the o-ring and hope it works or spend the extra coin on a whole new lid assembly?
