I'm in the planning stage of setting up a long line draught system in my basement, and have a question for you all. I want this to be able to dispense many beers at different carbonation levels and dispense pressures, with one length of line. I don't care about flow rate, I won't have to crank out beer like a bar would.
If I use 3/16" tubing to travel 15 feet with a two foot rise, that gives me about 26 pounds of resistance. At most I will be dispensing at 16 psi, and at the least about 5. Will this difference between resistance and dispensing pressure cause me any problems other than a slow flow rate? And just how slow will this be at low pressures?
Any education or advice would be great. Thanks!
