Fellow Beer Drinker ( and makers )
Greetings from the great state of Arizona!
Having worked for a German company for the past five years, and spending most of my time over there ( Munchen ), I find myself longing for the taste of fresh beer with all the good stuff left in the bottle. And living here in Coors country, I am sadly without beer. So IK have decided to venture into the unknown and try making beer for myself!
First task?, to sort through the boxes of beer gear I purchased from a local for $75. Then, its on to the conversion of the chest freezer so it will hold my carboys and then, we start making beer!
First up?, A Dry Heat Wheat hefeweizen. Good summer drinking beer with a hint of clove and a bit of bannana for good measure.
Chime in if you are local or want to help with this first venture into beerhood!
