One day I'd really like to have some basic machining tools capable of milling/lathing metals, plastics and woods. First I need some place to put them though, as my garage isn't big enough

I had a Sherline lathe for about a year. It was too small for what I really wanted to do, but it was cheap to ship to Alaska. They are a very cool machine with all sorts of capability. Sold it to a guy who repaired clocks.
I never wanted to do CNC stuff. I prefer turning handles.
