Our mead kits are based on age old recipes made from fresh Texas honey from the Austin area. Each recipe produces 5 gallons of mead with an alcohol content twice to triple that of a beer. Beer or wine makers can use their equipment, although an additional 5 gallon carboy may be needed for the 6 month aging process.
