Hey guys, I will be finalizing my move to Austin soon and was wondering what kind of clubs are active if there are any. If not I'd be happy to start one that meets once or twice a month.

There are a few clubs already established in Austin. Search on the home brewer's association webpage. Off the top of my head, zealots, south Austin, and something out in hill country. Welcome to Austin!

The ZEALOTS and the Texas Carboys are all that matter in Austin, from my perspective. ZEALOTS are generally more south, and Carboys more north. I've got very good friends in both.

I just moved to Austin from Los Angeles and also want to get into a club. I'm North in Pflugerville

Does anyone know if the Caryboys still meet at the Dig? I found an old website via google, but it leads to a blank site with no info.

I was told that on the 3rd Thursday (or was it last?) of the month the Round Rock Brewers guild has a meeting at Blue Bonnet Beer company in RR. It might be close to you.

The next zealots meeting is the annual picnic out at City Park (Emma Long). The results of the Zealots Inquisition Homebrew contest will be announced.
