So it's been about 3 weeks since I planted the hop plants and they where only a foot tall when I did! Now I'm starting to wonder if they are doing all right because they haven't grown as much as people say they do. I put some 6-4-6 fertilizer down today so hopefully that will help out. So if you could help me out it would be great!!!

Thanks!

If you just planted them and this is the first year I'd say they look great. I didn't get to harvest mine in their first year and they have been a beast every year since. As far as I understand, their first year is just for establishing roots. They do look good though.

This is there first year with me put there are 2 year old plants

There will be some transplant shock as the root systems adapt to their new location. The crowns I transplanted last year did a slow start, but eventually went nuts.

Otherwise, the leafy growth around the base looks really good to me, indicative of some pretty decent root systems below and lots of potential.

Panic not! They live and grow! :)
