Basically the title. I've read that the Sanyo 4912 is basically the best fridge to convert into a kegerator, but are there any that don't have the obnoxious door shelving by default?

Googling has resulted in nothing and, as my signature suggests, neither have these forums. I suspect that I just have too many common words in my searches.

Just buy one and take door shelves off, screws are located on or just beneath door seal. You'll have it off in about 10 mins.

I took mine off my fermentatorator and replaced with an old dry erase board I had. Now I can keep notes, start dates, etc right there on the inside of the door.

The only one's i've seen without shelves are glass door fridges (mostly wine fridges) and pre-built kegerators.

The ones that I find more annoying are the ones that have the evaporator as a freezer shelf. I would much rather have to cut off door shelves than bend the evaporator down.
