This summer I was busy and wasn't home very often. I haphazardly strung up one part of my hop vine and let the rest brow wild across the ground like a bush. Now that it is time to harvest for me, I am seeing a lot of pale white/green looking hops with light yellow lupulin on the inside, but they are beginning to brown. Are they ripe? They are zeus variety.

I tried taking photos but the lighting alters the appearance. They're an light green/white mixture (very pale) and have very little lupulin. The lupulin is not the classic "school bus yellow" and they don't really smell like much, but yet they are beginning to brown like crazy. They haven,t had much light exposure because they were buried under the leaves. I'm not sure if they're useable. I've seen that video before.
