are my grains and malts okay after weeks

Hey everyone I have LME, two row, chocolate malt and other grains that have been sitting in their zips lock bags in a box for 5 weeks...can I still use them or should I pitch?

They should be fine, assuming they weren't left in a hot car or something all this time.

Just sitting in a box in the basement away from sunlight...glad to hear I don't need to pitch them

Yep. As long as they are kept in a relatively cool, dryish, not in direct sunlight place you should be ok.
