Went to fresh market bought a gallon of unfiltered apple juice in glass jug, only says pasteurized on label, is it safe to use for hard cider?

Yes. I've found one recent caveat though. If it's pasteurized and unfiltered, there's the possibility that it wasn't flash pasteurized, and as a result, there will be pectin in the end product, which will prevent the cider from clarifying. Ran into that problem recently.
