I could spend days (literally) reading through all of the apfelwine posts for information, but I quickly become bogged down with "congrats" posts and reposts of questions/answers....

What I am hoping this string can do (ONLY), is provide a place for people to log their experiences with making Apfelwine with different strains of yeasts.

What were your gravities?

What were the total fermentation/rest times?

What yeast did you use?

What was the taste like? (super dry, slightly sweet, etc. ; buttery, yeasty, clove, etc..)

If you have any apfelwine questions, do a thread search and/or start a new thread, that way you might get an answer....

What we need here is a spreadsheet with the info you mention that we could add to when we try a new combination. Then we could search for the spreadsheet & not through every thread that mentions apfelwein.
