Apfelwein Question

My first batch of Apfewlwein was pretty good. My second batch is ready to be bottled now. I wanted to sweeten the whole batch. I know that I have to use an unfermentable sweetener like Splenda.

I was going to try the Apfelwin thread, but let's face it: It's over 200 pages long!!!

My Question is this:

Can I sweeten the whole batch with Splenda when I add the priming sugar? I figured I would sweeten it with sugar or maybe honey.
This will not give me bottle grenades will it? Adding a ton of splenda AND the priming sugar?
 
Splenda won't ferment, so just add enough of your other sweetener to carbonate and you will be golden.

Then again, you could go peruse the 2,000+ posts and find out that answer. :D
