Apfelwein Question...

So, I would like to makes this Edworts Apfelwein that I have been reading so much about, But I Have a question.

Would it be alright to use Lalvin EC-1118 wine yeast?

Its the only yeast I can get ahold of right now. Will there be any bad effects using this?

It'll work fine. I've made several batches using the 1118.

Any yeast will work actually, you just need to know what end product flavor you want to end up with.
