I have an old portable air conditioner that I'd like to repurpose for a DIY glycol chiller. All of the build examples I've seen online use a window-style AC unit. The unit I have is a portable rolling unit similar to this one:

I imagine the overall concept and process is the same for using this type of AC unit (vs a window unit) in a build but I am curious if anyone has experience doing it. Any guidance is appreciated for sure.

Thanks!

I use an aquarium/hydroponics chiller with water, able to get interior fermenter temps into the upper 40 degree range. A good chiller is around $350
