Really? I did Pergo laminate and it practically installed itself. The only hassle in working with it was that it ate my saw blade over the course of the project.

A flooring guy I know let me borrow his laminate cutter when I put mine in. Looks just like a brick splitter and worked great on the end cuts. I'd never install again without one.

I had long runs on this project and everytime I got three or four boards together the whole row would pop off. Very frustrating when you are working by yourself at 2 in the morning.

yeah, I'm pretty sure i didn't need a permit... Maaaaaybe I should have gotten one for the electrical but even that I doubt. In my area, it's pretty much if you're going to make any structural chnges to the house, the footprint of the house or if yoiu're going to make a lot of noise that would bother the neighbors, you're supposed to pull one. I didn't do any of that.

"Bar porn"... that's funny...

the url in that other post (barplans.com) was not correct, it led me to a bunch of adwords, Here is a site with lots of bar plans and ideas. The completed bar pictures are great for ideas:

Home Bar Plans

Holy crap! one of the bars they show scrolling through belongs to a guy in my brew-club and I'm seeing him tonight.

that's crazy... I didn't think he got any "plans" for it so I gotta ask him if he actually used that site.

My Magic Chef does not seem to be tall enough for corny kegs (23"). How is the freezer unit removed from this refrigerator safely?

Greg

The freezer unit usually cant be removed because it is what actually cools the entire thing.

I have a wetbar in my home which is located next to the crawlspace, so I put a chest freezer in there, ran pvc pipe from the freezer to the wall, took a wooden 5 gallon keg and cut it in half, put the valve/fawcet on the end of the keg, ran the keg line inside the pvc pipe. works very nice. would post pics, but I don't see how to do that.
