We are traveling to the Jacksonville / St. Augustine area and I was looking through the local Craigs List, I ran across this. I don't remember ever seeing any thing like it and was wondering if anyone knew its purpose or use.

It looks like an old fashioned tap system similar to today's jockey box. Put ice on the inside cooling the beer flowing through the coils. It would make a nice conversation piece.

If you overhaul and modernize it, you may be able to use it. The faucets look ancient, I bet they don't work. Some people may make a planter out of it.

Is it worth $100? hmmm... maybe $25 if you really want to go through the trouble hauling it back home.

$25 offer, clean it up and use it if it fits your bar decor... otherwise it is a pile of junk, taps would have to be replaced for sure.

It crossed my mind the it would be a jockey box type item but the last picture looked like there was something mechanical in there. I wasn't really interested in purchasing it, just curious as to what it was.
