Heya, folks,

I was given a one gallon brewing kit for Christmas by the future inlaws (sound like keepers to me!). I had expressed interest in brewing to my fiance for months, but didn't expect this!

I just bottled my first IPA, have an oatmeal stout in my secondary, a chestnut brown ale in primary, and a hard cider in primary. You might say I'm excited about it...

The missus loves hard cider and Moscato d'Asti, so this spring I intend on getting a larger carboy and some 750ml bottles to give that a try...after I know I can handle it.

I look forward to learning more about brewing and maybe growing my "production" later. I don't drink very often, so my schedule of a gallon ready every two weeks should be just about right, but I'd like to make larger batches so I'll have some to give away. I'm already looking into figuring out recipe sizes needed to work in my 3 gallon turkey fryer.

Just browsing through the forums has answered many questions so far and I hope that I'll learn more!
