Works out to about 60 cents a foot.

It should be like -58*F to 448*F if it's the same as their current offering. I've got a question out to their CSR to find out for sure though. But, silicone hose is silicone hose. It's extremely heat resistant.

I tried doing research on the tubing to see how it would work for brewing but couldnt find really anything other than it was discontinued. Any thoughts on off flavors or anything else.

As someone else said earlier - silicone is silicone, and this stuff was made for the bio-pharm industry, so it was probably made to more exacting standards than what we would require. I'll let you know if I end up with any off-flavors or 6th fingers, etc.

Yep, sure looks like the first guy bumped the price. He probably saw a sudden increase in interest in his item. He isn't sure why, but he knows someone is interested in his product and he's gonna charge for that interest. LOL
