I'm going to try this recipe tomorrow, it is a dead guy clone based on Yooper's.

I had to make a few modifications, for one my brew store was out of Munich!

8lb 2-row
2lb pils base
1.5lb caramunich
6oz Vienna
8oz crystal 60L

Perle (1 - 60min) (.25 - 30min) (.25 - 5 min)
Saaz (.25 - 5min)

1056 American Ale Yeast
I'm going to use a yeast starter and also mash at a slightly lower temp.:fro:
I'll follow up with a review of the finished product.

The munich and marris otter really have an effect on Yooper's recipe if you ask me. You'll end up with a completely different beer, but it looks like it'll be good either way.

turned out great with a 7% ABV! It is actually very similar to dead guy, I think the pils and the caramunich did it, I can see how the munich might have added though.
All and all dead guy is a great beer, and this is not a bad clone.
