Yesterday I was at the LBS that I had been going to until a few years ago when I took some time off from brewing.
I had a long conversation with the woman who ended up being the Manager.
She asked me "Why is it you're getting back into brewing again?"
It was a funny question, one I would not have ever thought of on my own. It took me a minute to come up with an answer.
"Because nothing I have bought off the shelf is of a quality that I get from making my own."
Something to keep in mind for everyone as were toiling away and fretting about the little things that get us all started; what were doing is the first step in a long journey to making a beer that we ourselves enjoy the most and isn't available at even the best micro-brew shop on the planet!
Cheers everyone!
