Amount of Grapes

If I were to brew a wine from scratch, how many grapes would I need for 5 gallons? (I don't need an individual grape count; poundage should do. ) I'm assuming you don't add water...so I'd need 5 gallons of grape juice?? Okay, maybe I won't do this...sounds like it would be expensive!!
