Going to brew an extract version of an American pale ale. Using 6 lbs of Briess gold extract, Steeping carapils and crystal malt 10, and some cascade hops. ABV around 4.5%, Ibu 25. Want to keep it light, refreshing, summer beer.
Anyone have any suggestions for a summer pale ale?

yours sounds good, tho I wouldnt steep that much more carapils, as the Gold extract already has some in there.

cascades are great. Make sure to add them late and dry hop some, maybe .5 to 1oz for a little aroma, depending on your personal preference. I always like more, 2-4oz.
