Is it normal for the pails to stay a slight brown, Even though they are cleaned and sanitized? They have been getting lots of use, Mostly stouts and porters. Or should I try some diffrent cleaning methods?

Try a couple day soak with Oxiclean. Other than that, keep them for your Stout & Porter fermenting.

Once in a while, I'll bleach my buckets (every time after making blackberry cider).

What kind of sanitizer do you use? I've noticed you that my buckets have a tinge to them after using iodophor....

Starsan. Works great, love the foam, and is septic safe!
