Mods, if cocktail recipes aren't welcome here, please delete the thread.

A simple cocktail that's sure to warm you on a cold, Eastern Bloc night.

2 oz Van Gogh Espresso Vodka
4 oz Half and Half (cream or milk substitute well here)

Shake in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice cubes.

Serve on the rocks in an old fashioned glass.

Garnish with whipped cream and some white chocolate bark if desired.

Enjoy!

Here's the vodka. Served ice cold, it's quite a treat all by itself:

Slightly :off: , but the latest issue of Draft magazine has a number of cocktail recipes, some of which even include beer. If I can remember I'll post some of them when I get home this evening.

Shaking dairy (especially high fat content like cream or half-n-half) leads to a lot of foaminess. Some people like it, some don't. You could tweak the preparation by shaking just the vodka by itself to chill, adding the cream to the shaker and then pouring the contents into the tumbler, letting the cream mix in with the pour. It'll come out a thicker texture which some might appreciate.

Of course, it's all personal taste so YMMV.

Sounds like a great cocktail.
