I just brewed my third batch of beer and it has been 2 days and still no bubbles in my airlock, I opened the lid a little and saw lots of foaming and a big ring around the bucket, should I be concerned about the airlock. I would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks, Bruce

The purpose the airlock is to keep contaminated air from getting to your wort while letting CO2 out, not as a guide or indicator of fermentation. That's the hydrometer's job.

Make sure your lid is on all the way, sounds like you have fermentation going and nothing to worry about.

Welcome to HBT!

Stop opening that bucket. Chances are you didn't' get the lid sealed or something and the C02 was getting out elsewhere.

But mostly, leave the lid on. Leave it alone...14 days MINIMUM, then bottle. You'll have great beer.
