Hello all, I noticed tonight that the airlock on my fermenter has been knocked off. The bung was open and I'm not sure for how long. do you think the beer will still be okay?

Probably. Time will tell. Put the air lock back in and LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!! (See other threads to the background on that)

Seriously though, this question has been asked hundreds of times, chances are it’ll be just fine.

Thanks, no cat here just people, one of us knocked it off.

Forget the airlock. It is only there to keep the fruit flies from finding their way into the fermenter. I sometimes use a small piece of Saran wrap to do that and I always get beer. It will be a lot harder to knock the Saran wrap off if you tape it (bucket top) or use a rubber band (carboy) to hold it in place.
