Did AHS change the recipe or just the name. Did they run out of Jade hops??

I have AHS Pacific Jade Pale Ale and just noticed all the recipes have deleted the Jade part.

Plus - it is no longer a seasonal.

OR - did Jade just suck! So they canned the recipe.

Well - to answer my own question Pacific Jade hops does NOT suck but is wonderful. I contacted AHS and they said it was a limited supply and I feel very lucky to have tried this hops.

I made a Pale Ale and while it is ONLY 5 weeks from Brew Date and only 2 weeks carbonation I had to try a bottle to see what I could look forward too.

I tell ya I am really looking forward to this maturing as it was wonderful already. The placebo effect took hold as I felt I was in the Caribbean. It's a very soft citrusy flavor that melded perfectly with the malt.

This will be a great beer at 40 degrees (I tasted it at about 45) on a hot summer day.
