Hey everyone,

I brewed a Belgian Tripel and before I bottled I added sweet orange peel, coriander, and paradise seeds for 1 week.

It has been bottling for a week now, just cracked one open and I think it might be the best beer I've ever made, except for one thing--the sweet orange peel comes through too much on the front end.

How long will it take before the orange flavor mellows out in the bottle? I used a whole packet of the orange peel. I'm so proud of the beer because it is clear as day and I usually don't get that.

Sample one every couple of weeks until it is to your liking. Tripels will age well.

I will try not to touch it for another month and then see if the overwhelming orange goes away. It is so hard when you make a good beer but want to age it.
