Here's the valve http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2-Electri...077?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fb59d1e5

Here's the float switch http://www.ebay.com/itm/Water-Level...162?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2572663e2a

I'm gonna rig the switch up so it is adjustable probably by floating it, but maybe by hanging from lid. What I was concerned about is what is the best way to determine what voltage valve I should get. Would it be easier to get 12volt so I have the tranformer plugged directly in outlet and then to switch and valve or have 120volt to valve and tranformer to switch with a relay to turn on valve?

Here's my insiration https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/29-float-switch-sparging-31832/
