Gday all..

I am pondering my next brew atm and would appreciate some advice and guidance.

I Have enough ingredients sitting round the house to mix up a brew but am unsure/undecided on specifics...

I have the following ingredients;

2kg pale malt extract
1kg amber malt extract
bout 70gm super alpha
bout 60 gm saaz

I have run out of grain.

I have some recultured us05 in the fridge I can pitch...

Do you have any brewing software programs like Beersmith? That could help, a buddy of mine uses that to throw together recipes from his spare brewing parts.

Are you trying to use up all of the ingredients? If not, what about using all the extract, about 20gm of super at 60mins, then like 10gm (super, saaz, or mix) at 15mins, then another 10gm (super, saaz, or mix) at flameout, and ferment around 18C with the US-05.

I agree with dcp. Use the malt, and scale back on the hops. If you use all of the hops, I think you are simply going to have an IPA by default.
