I am going to be brewing 5gallon batch of Helles and fermenting with Skare. With the last kviek brew I made I just mashed with a higher ph but that doesn't seem idea for a helles

What's the best way to adjust preboil ph? I know you can use baking soda but that also increases salt.

Mash Made Easy (MME) contains the "Kettle pH Made Easy" version 1.10 module within it.

A good 'room temperature measured' target for pre-boil Wort pH adjustment is 5.1 to 5.2 (5.15 to allow for some +/- leeway).
